Indigenous Language Documentaries
This grant supports young filmmakers from the Global South (Africa, Asia, or Latin America) in producing documentary films. Offering financial assistance of 10,000 CAD and smaller grants of 5,000 CAD, the program encourages films in the filmmaker's language of choice that align with the foundation's mission to promote impactful storytelling.
Benefits

Requirements
- Applicants must complete the application form in French, English, or Spanish.
- Submit a 5-page synopsis in one of the three languages, detailing content, characters, theme, style, and treatment.
- Provide a Vimeo link to a previous documentary (subtitled in French, English, or Spanish if possible) or a written transcript of the dialogue if subtitles are unavailable.
- Include a detailed production budget and financing plan.
- Submit two letters of support from NGOs, groups, or associations.

- Young filmmakers born and residing in Africa, Asia, or Latin America.
- Applicants who align with the foundation's mission and intend to create a documentary in their language of choice.
- Filmmakers with a prior completed documentary work to share as part of the application process.
